The stables and palace gardens will reopen from 1 June. The safety of visitors and employees is paramount. From May 22 it is possible to buy tickets in our ticketshop (Dutch website only). The palace is closed until 2021 due to renovation.

An admission ticket for Paleis Het Loo 'Open, just not as usual' gives access to the gardesn, the rooftop, the stables and the restaurant. Free admission for children up to 3 years old.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Open on Mondays: 1 June, 20 & 27 July, 3, 10 & 17 August 2020.
  • Parking: € 5.00 per car.
  • Dogs: dogs are not admitted, with the exception of guide-dogs for the visually impaired and assistance dogs.  This applies to both the gardens as the stables.
  • Photography and filming is only allowed for private purposes. The use of flash, tripod or selfie-stick inside is prohibited. Drones are not allowed on the premises of Paleis Het Loo.
  • Event pricing: for some events a separate admission fee may apply.
  • Paleis Het Loo has created special smoking areas for visitors who smoke. You are requested to smoke only at these designated locations. Our staff is happy to show you the way.
    Paleis Het Loo follows the Tobacco Act of the Dutch Government and keeps all indoor areas and most outdoor areas smoke-free. This applies to all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.

Dutch Delftware

Using 17th centrury techniques Dutch Delftware garden vases have been reproduced as they were made for the first residents of Paleis Het Loo, King-Stadtholder Willem III and Queen Mary.
