The Stables Square and palace gardens are open until September 29th. The palace is closed until 2021 due to renovation. Due to a private event, the Stables Square will be closed on 22 June.

Admission 'Open, just not as usual'

An admission ticket for Paleis Het Loo gives access to the stables, gardens, rooftop, Orange trail and the restaurants. Free admission for children up to 3 years old and museum card holders.

We offer a free admission for visitors using a wheelchair as a compensation for the limited accessibility.

  • Open on Mondays: 22 and 29 April, 10 June, 22 and 29 July, 5, 12 and 19 August, 23 and 30 December 2019.
  • Payment: cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard.
  • Parking: € 2.50 per hour with a maximum of € 7.50 per car. Coaches park free of charge.
  • The Museum Shop is also open to visitors without a ticket.
  • Dogs: dogs are not admitted, with the exception of guide-dogs for the visually impaired and assistance dogs.  This applies to both the gardens as the stables.
  • Photography and filming is allowed, only for private purposes. The use of flash, tripod or selfie-stick inside is prohibited. Drones are not allowed on the premises of Paleis Het Loo.
  • Event pricing: for some events a separate admission fee may apply.
  • Paleis Het Loo has created special smoking areas for visitors who smoke. You are requested to smoke only at these designated locations. Our staff is happy to show you the way.
    Paleis Het Loo follows the Tobacco Act of the Dutch Government and keeps all indoor areas and most outdoor areas smoke-free. This applies to all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.

Visitors can enter the Coach houses to get a close look at the presentation of Dutch royal transport with carriages, cars and sleighs.

The palace is closed, but the roof will still be accessible to the visitors of Paleis Het Loo. Come and take a look at the gardens and the building site.
The ‘Orange’ trail

Visitors can walk the Orange Trail starting at the end of the garden. The Orange Trail takes you along the ponds, pavilions and royal Boathouses in the Palace park.
