The palace is closed due to renovation. The gardens and stables are open from 3 April until 26 September.
Paleis Het Loo Palace has been financially supported by the BankGiro Loterij, the Dutch Cultural Lottery, since 2008. Paleis Het Loo receives an annual donation as well as an extra contribution achieved by means of 'earmarked' participants.
The Historical Association of Orange-Nassau was founded with the aim of the raising of artifacts and historical documents, related to the House of Orange-Nassau. The collection includes a unique collection of paintings, graphics, drawings, watercolours, miniatures, coins, medals, letters, porcelain, pottery and costumes. Since 1977 the collection is on long-term loan at Paleis Het Loo.
The 'Vereniging Rembrandt' (Rembrandt association) has twelve thousand members and provides financial support for purchases of works of art by Dutch museums. Starting point is that a purchase is not only for the museum but also to our national collection as a whole.
Paleis Het Loo is part of the 'Association of European Royal Residences', a network of European palaces. The network enables its members to work together and share their knowledge and experience in the preservation and development of the rich cultural heritage in their care, to the benefit of the millions of visitors they receive each year.
