The Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board has at least five and at most nine members. They are appointed for four years and can be reappointed twice. Board members undertake their activities for the benefit of the museum without any financial reimbursement and with due regard to the Code Cultural Governance. The management participates in the meetings of the Board. Sometimes part of the meeting is held in the absence of the management.

The third term of Office of Mr. Maarschalkerweerd expired on 1 October 2015. He will continue as an advisor to the meetings.

Remuneration policy

The salary and the regulations on the further employment conditions of the general manager is stipulated by the Supervisory Board; the general manager handles this for all other employees of the foundation.  The remuneration policy of the staff is based on the CAO VRM.
